I was motivated to get trained in Yoga to incorporate stretching, breathing, mindfullness, and meditation into the fitness industry. My training is though Yogafit. It is an excellent way to incorporate my background in human movement and physiology. I teach yoga postures, breathing and meditation in personal training sessions for those intimidated to try a full class. My goal is to make yoga accessible for all and to help you feel good after each class.
Yoga Fusion
Yoga Fusion is held at Momentum Pilates Studio on Tuesdays from 9-10 a.m. This class incorporates the principles of both yoga and pilates. You can expect yoga with some pilates exercises and principles mixed in. To conclude class there will be a ten minute mediation. This class is for all abilities and no experience is necessary.
Yoga KIDS!
This class is held at Brownsville Elementary School as an after school enrichment program. Yoga Kids is a fun and healthy way for kids to develop focus and physical awareness while fostering confidence and self-expression. Kids will learn basic yoga postures, breathing techniques, and visualizations that will help build a healthy mind and body. Classes are available for K-2 and 3-5.
